Frankie & the Witch Fingers - Data Doom [ Vinyl ]

Los Angeles-based psych-punk quartet Frankie and the Witch Fingers have come back with their seventh album Data Doom, out September 1st through The Reverberation Appreciation Society / Greenway Records. To mark the announcement, the band has released the album's standout single “Mild Davis” accompanied by a striking animated music video. Drawing influence from Miles Davis’ electric work of the early-70s, “Mild Davis” whirls through chunky riffs, commanding vocals and proggy synths in a diverse 7/4 meter before settling in a minefield of angular guitar harmonies.
