Hater is the self-titled 1993 debut album by the American rock band Hater, a side project formed by Soundgarden members Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron, along with John McBain. Released on September 21, 1993, via A&M Records, the album features a garage and classic rock-influenced sound, distinct from the grunge style of Soundgarden.
