Karen Dalton’s In My Own Time is not just an album - it’s an emotional time capsule, delivered by one of folk music’s most haunting and elusive voices. This 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition is the definitive version of her 1971 masterwork, presented with reverence and packed with rarities, lost performances, and breathtaking extras.

The newly remastered album spans three sides of heavyweight 45-RPM vinyl, offering lush, immersive sound that brings Dalton’s voice closer than ever. The fourth side is a treasure trove of alternate takes, adding new dimension to classics like “Something On Your Mind,” “Katie Cruel,” and “Are You Leaving for the Country.” It’s raw, aching, and beautifully human - just like Karen herself.

But that’s only the beginning. This set also includes, for the first time ever, her full 1971 Live at the Montreux Golden Rose Pop Festival performance on a 12-inch single-sided LP, complete with a custom etching by Jess Rotter. Two 7-inch singles feature unreleased live tracks from her spellbinding Beat Club appearance in Germany. All pressed to perfection at Third Man Record Pressing.

Rounding it out? A CD of all audio, a 20-page booklet with essays and unseen photos, a replica Montreux playbill, and a fold-out movie poster from the acclaimed Karen Dalton: In My Own Time documentary. Limited to just 2,000 numbered copies, this box set is a loving tribute to a singular artist who sang like no one else and still resonates across generations.
